We are focused on creating an inclusive and respectful environment for people from diverse backgrounds. When on campus, we are here mainly as students and teachers enjoying the same privileges and abiding the same rules no matter our background or origin. This enables us to engage in the quest for knowledge and skills together with a mutual respect for science, curiosity, and differences of opinion.

All teachers and students have the right to work or attend courses and activities in a safe environment. Bullying, threats, or aggressive behavior are not being tolerated. All individuals have an obligation to respect rules and regulations on campus and to contribute to building and maintaining a respectful manner of working and being together.

Being a secular institution, religious freedom for each individual is respected as a personal right. On campus our practices are secular in order to support an inclusive environment for people of different beliefs and backgrounds and celebrating the academic tradition of focusing on scientific values. We encourage all students to participate in events and extracurricular activities as this enforces our lively and diverse community.
